I love listening to music, any kind of music. From rap to country. From rock to strings. I listen to it all. I've put together a list of my all time favorites and even included a few of my favorite videos. I can guarantee you'll never see a list like this anywhere else!

As a mother who adores my child, I just had to put this in here. It's my 9 year old singing to Taylor Swift.

I first saw this music video when I was 15. It became my all time favorite video and has held that spot ever since (except for my daughters video, of course). It's not just a fun song, it's a fun video too. And John Popper's harmonica solo 2 minutes and 30 seconds into it is amazing!

My musical influences

My Dad taught me a love for the classics like Tom Petty, The Steve Miller Band and Meatloaf. My grandma taught me to love old country favorites like George Jones, Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash.

This is my most played song on my MP3 player. I love George Jones and I think this was his best song ever! And this is the best version the Possum ever played.

I also Dance!

Thanks to a very talented ex-boyfriend, I can line dance, do the two step, the jitterbug, lap dance, and pretty much any other kind of dance. In fact, one of my favorite ways to exercise is to dance!

Kinky, Linkin Park and Pussicat Dolls

Vamos queriendo mas y mas! Kinky has it goin on when it comes to dance music. About 20 seconds into this song my hips start shaking all by themselves!

Linkin Park offers the perfect music for dancing. Their songs are energetic and fast paced and I can't get enough of them!

The Pussicat Dolls may have a bad rep but they did do one thing right.....they made this song! Dont Cha is another of my favorite dance songs.

Connie Talbot is only 6! And she has a voice from the angels. I can't believe the high notes she can hit!

Taylor Ware is an 11 year old who taught herself to yodel from a book! And, believe me, she's good!

Unfortunately I couldn't embed the video of 12 year old Shaheen. But I encourage you to go to Youtube and watch his video. I can guarantee you'll get goosebumps 1 minute and 2 seconds into it.

    I absolutely love Linkin Park! Their music is so raw and it speaks to me. I feel like every song was written just for me! Believe me, I could do a whole lens (or two) just on their music.
