Besides, fat and water retain is another result of estrogen activity in female body (that is why many women have a certain swelling when they are about to enter menstruation period). Therefore, an increased level of estrogen can be associated with storing more fat in the body. Such foods as stews, sauces and dips, all sorts of fatty meat, fried, grilled and other processed foods, salty foods, as well as junk foods and foods with great amounts of chemical additives are linked to accumulation of toxins in various parts of the body. As a result, some toxins get stored in fatty tissues and cause the occurrence of cellulite. Eating certain foods with high content of toxins can also bring to poor metabolism and circulation, and eventually lead to cellulite. If you want to prevent cellulite, stay away from consuming chemicals and various toxic substances. Alcohol and caffeine abuse are also strictly linked to cellulite since the toxic products of these substances can not be eliminated and get trapped in our body fat. - Cellulite is a curse of 21st century. I've had it since I was 28 and it's just getting worse.I drink about 3l water per day, I walk a lot, eat tons of fruit and vegetables, nothing helps. It's not hereditary, my mother is 70 and her hips are perfectly smooth. My theory is - either it's hormonal, my oestrogenes are making my life a misery or it's just our modern polluted world. Air is polluted, water is polluted, soil is polluted food is not really food anymore, full of additives, preservatives, toxines. The only time I've noticed visible improvements was when I was sick with a flu and didn't eat anything for 3 weeks. My cellulite almost totally disappeared. So, I made a conclusion that it's all from food. But to keep myself alive I need to eat. I've tried raw food diet but after two weeks I gave it up as I love my meat too much. Don't feel full unless I have eaten a bit chunk of meat. So, basically, there's no solution, I just have to live with it.
