Cisco CCIE Routing and Switching

Now Cisco has revised requirements of certification and publishes new v4.0 standards on Cisco learning network. For Testking CCIE there are no formal requirements, other professional Cisco certifications are not required. There are two steps required for CCIE Routing and switching firstly candidate must pass written qualification exam and then corresponding hands on Lab exam.

This exam time is two hours, this exam will cover equipment commands and networking concepts before you are eligible to Lab exam. CCIE exam has 90-110 exam questions taken online at any Cisco authorized VUE testing center.

All questions are multiple choices but more complex, written exam cost is US$350 and it may vary due to exchange rates and local taxes. CCIE Routing and switching written exam is valid for 18 months

A candidate must wait 5 days between attempts at the written exam; if he or she passes the exam then he or she may not take same exam for at least 180 days.

Lab exam is an eight-hour hand on exam and required for candidate to configure and troubleshoot of a number of complex networks and assigned specifications to them. Responsibility for all devices residing in the network is required and candidate not directory configuration with end user.

Lab exam cost is US$1400 and may vary due to exchange rates and local taxes. A candidate check their result of lab exams within 48 hours and you can also do request for reevaluation for result of routing and switching, Network Security and service provider labs for up to 14 days following your exam date.
