Cisco CCSP Certification

CSSP Certification emphasizes Cisco Router IOS, Network Admission control, Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA), Cisco Security Agent (CSA), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Secure VPN Connectivity and techniques to optimize these all technologies in a single integrated solution about network security.

CSSP has three required exams and one elective exam which can taken from three exams, required exams are 642-504 SNRS (Securing Networks with Cisco Routers and Switches), 642-524 SNAF (Securing Networks with ASA Foundation) and 642-533 IPS (Implementing Cisco Intrusion Prevention System). A candidate can take one exam from three given elective exams which are 642-591 CANAC (Implementing Cisco NAC Appliance), 642-545 MARS (Implementing Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis and Response System) and 642-515 SNAA (Securing Networks with ASA Advanced).

642-504 SNRS (Securing Networks with Cisco Routers and Switches)

642-504 exam is associated with CCSP Certification with 55-65 questions and its duration is 90 minutes and available in two languages English and Japanese. A candidate can prepare this exam by taking SNRS Course, this exam for testing the ability of candidate according secure network using routers and switches.

642-524 exam is associated with CCSP Certification having 90 minute duration with 55-65 questions. 642-524 exam is available in two languages English and Japanese, This exam tests candidate's skill about describe, configure, verify and manage security appliance products.

642-533 exam is associated with CCSP Certification and Cisco IPS Specialist Certification, this exam has 55-65 questions and its duration is 90 minutes. 642-533 exam is available in two languages English and Japanese, by this exam a candidate prove him in implementation of Cisco IPS products.

642-591 CANAC (Implementing Cisco NAC Appliance)

642-591 exam is Elective exam in CCSP Certification, associated with CCSP and Cisco Network Admission Control Specialist. 642-591 exam having 60 questions and its duration is 75 minutes, availability of this course is in two language English and Japanese. This exam tests the knowledge of candidate about Cisco NAC Appliance solution.

642-545 exam is associated with CCSP having 55-65 questions and its duration is 75 minutes, this course is available in two language English and Japanese. 642-545 exam tests candidate's knowledge about Cisco Security monitoring, Analysis and response system.

642-515 exam is associated with CCSP Certification and available in two languages English and Japanese. 642-515 exam having 90 minutes duration with 55-65 questions, this exam tests candidate's knowledge about describe, configure, verify and manage Cisco ASA Security Appliance product.

CCNA Security OR CCNA + SND* OR any CCIE Certification can act as a pre-requisite.
Cisco professional level certifications (CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, CCSP, CCVP, and CCIP) are valid for three years. To recertify, pass any 642 exam that is part of the professional level curriculum or any CCIE / CCDE written exam before the certification expiration date.
