Work Hard and Never Stop Dreaming
However, it's hard to devote yourself to hard work when you don't really care about the benefits. This is where dreaming comes in. When you dream, you work harder to achieve your dreams or goals.
This lense is all about my life. I'm a huge dreamer and benefited time and time again from working hard. My dreams and interests include writing, playing and creating music, and computer programming.
Finding Your Way
- Consider your interests and hobbies. Your dreams usually stem from things you currently enjoy. Is this important enough to you that nothing could get in your way?
- Look into the interests of friends and family. After all, you may not know you like something until you try it.
- Always be willing to try new things. Avoiding an opportunity may very well leave you wondering what if later on.
- Don't limit yourself. You shouldn't ever have just one dream. Obviously, you may have one major goal or dream, but don't limit yourself. Live life to the fullest.
Getting To Know Me
Music - I play piano and am learning to play guitar. I write my own music as well. I'm an aspiring musician and hope to have some music on MySpace and OurStage sometime next year.
Animals - I am an animal lover, but not an extremist. I eat meat, but anything possibly made from household pets is off limits. I love cats in particular. My goal is create a series of lowcost vets and no-kill shelters across the country. Making it big in the music business would definitely help with this goal.
Writing - I love writing both fiction and non-fiction. I currently write articles for various websites. You can see my feeds to Associated Content and Helium below. These sites helped me get my start as a freelance writer. I also enjoy blogging. Within the next year, I hope to have my first novel finished.
Reading - Fiction is preferred over non-fiction. Most things dealing with the paranormal are my absolute favorites. And yes, I am a major Twilight fan.

- Join Associated Content
- Associated Content, or AC for short, offers upfront pay for both exclusive and non-exclusive articles. Even if your article isn't accepted for upfront pay, you can still submit the article for page view payments. Regardless, you earn. You can also submit video, audio, poetry, and short stories here as well.
- Join Helium
- Similar to AC, but doesn't have upfront offers. However, Helium offers a Marketplace for publishers looking for writers. The titles are competitive but if the publisher chooses your article, you can normally earn $16 to $64 per article. You can also participate in their contests which can earn you up to $60 if you win.
- Join Constant Content
- Constant Content is basically a marketplace for your work. You set the prices for your articles and wait for them to sell. CC has a section for publishers to request articles both publicly and privately. The earning potential depends solely on whether you're writing what CC buyers are looking for at a given time. However, you can sell both exclusive and non-exclusive rights. This is a great place for making a little extra on the side.
- Demand Studios
- This one pays a bit more. $15 for articles suggested by the staff and $5 for approved titles suggested by the author. DS can be a great place for people that write How To articles and Fact Sheets. You will need writing samples and a resume to apply, however.
