Family Rides at Cedar Point

There are plenty of rides that families will enjoy (even Grandma and Grandpa!). My families favorite ride was the Cedar Downs Racing Derby. It's a carousel, but not your typical, slow moving horses going up and down carousel! It simulates a race with the horses starting out slowing and then racing around and around. The ride tops out at 15 mph. There are 3 different carousels at Cedar Point.
There is also a train ride that will take you around the park or just from the front of the park to the back! Paddlewheel Excursions is a great way to slow down for a while and enjoy the park.
If you don't have a fear of heights you might try these two rides. The Sky Ride takes the riders 92 feet in the air down the middle of the Midway. The Giant Wheel is like a ferris wheel, but bigger - much bigger! The Giant Wheel is 150-feet. I gives a fabulous view of the park, Lake Erie and maybe even Canada!
