Decorations for an anniversary can range from floral arrangements, similar to those for weddings, to 50 or 25 decorative items, or even unique items which remind the guests of the year that the couple wed. Here are some great DIY ideas which can be used as favors, for decorating guest tables or entertainment.

• Print old pictures of the honorees dating days or wedding and scatter on the tables.


• Make cute little cards with trivia about the couple, such as where they met.


• Make a one page flyer with information about the year they wed.


• Make a DVD about how they met & include weddings pictures, favorite songs, etc.

Although not required for anniversary celebrations, favors are a way to say thank you to the guests who have attended. There is a wide variety of favors for 25th & 50th anniversary celebrations, however, providing something that guests can use for years to come, without a number 25 or 50 is a sure way to ensure they always remember your special day. Here are some of my favorite. Just add a ribbon & favor tag to coordinate them with your event.
