Do You REALLY Consider Earth Your Home?
I've been thinking a lot about what to include and what to exclude from this page since there is so many resources about how to go green by applying 3R's: reducing, reusing and recycling. So, this is how I would like to approach to issue of planet pollution and our own role in process of damaging Earth:
Have you REALLY considered Earth your home? Your backyard? Your kitchen? Toilet or even living room???
If You Don't Keep Your Home Clean....
... how can you keep Earth clean?!?!

f your room looks like this one on picture, I wouldn't (and nobody else) expect from you to care or even consider helping to preserve Earth!
Point is simple: each and every act on preserving our planet starts in our own homes.
Reducing - What Does It Really Means?
When we take a look at our living space...
Reducing is simple word. But it can mean a lots of different things. When you look around your home, do you thing about reducing? And how it can affect your budget?
Reducing can start with most simple thing: Each and every time you go shopping, think really hard: 'Do I really need that?'. Or even better, turn around and leave... Sleep over decision. In many cases, you'll reconsider until morning. I should know, it happens to me often!
Reduce Your Impact on the Environment
Here is a list of 50 things you can reduce!
Reusing - Simply Use Things More Than Once!
Giving a second life...
There are many things around your home that can be reused. Personally, I try to promote reusing much more than recycling. Reason for this is pretty simple: reusing can lower many of your costs. You can give new life to many items form around your home and in this way there will no longer be a need to buy something new. So, you're going green and saving money in process.
Reusing can be really simple: from reusing many items for crafts (if you have kids or love doing this kind of stuff yourself) to repurposing them for further use inside your home.
How to Reuse Things
And what can you reuse? Take a look at these suggestions:
Recycling - It Comes at the End of 3R's
And it's a right place to be...
Recycling is a last resource... After trying to reduce our costs and our spendings and trying to reuse as many things from around our home (or even our office), what's left is recycling.
I'm not really fond of recycling because... It's still an industry. Industry that uses electricity and other resources to recreate raw materials from our waste. Recycling is good. But reducing and reusing is better!
Things That You Can Recycle
What exactly can be reycled?
But instead for many people it's only on:

- I do think we need to change our way of thinking. Why do people need 100 pair of shoes? 50 purses? I am on )a one year mission to get rid of almost everything we own so we can move into an RV and travel. I look at the clutter around me (and yes, my room looks like that) and try to find things to give away or donate to a thrift shop. I've shopped a lot in thrift shops, that's where most of my clothes came from. I just threw away a winter coat I wore for 13 years. We need to move toward living a simpler life or we will be forced to do it anyway. Lensrolling this to my Web of Connection lens.

- Oh my goodness ... I am thinking about how dusty our home has gotten over the past 4 years because of my time spent on Squidoo rather than dusting away the cobwebs of our home.

- I have just spent most of the afternoon sorting out things that I can recycle. I know that I need to reduce the amount of 'stuff' that we bring into our home.
