Celebrities and their exotic pets

Pop King Michael Jackson owned an exotic Chimpanzee named Bubbles. Though it is said that Bubbles did not like MJ, MJ seemed to love his pet so much that he ordered for an expensive art work featuring him and Bubbles. After the death of MJ, Bubbles is living a happy, retired life in "The Center of Great Apes" sanctuary in Florida. Though the chimpanzee is the most associated with the singer, MJ's Neverland Ranch is a home to ostrich, giraffe and a Llama. Jackson also owned two tigers, Thriller and Sabu in his private zoo which he gave off to "The Birds" star Tippi Hedron, in 2005. Jackson also owned Koala Bears which accompanied him in many of his world tours.

Elvis Presly, a great American singer of the 20th century, known as the King of Rock and Roll, preferred to adopt the Australian national animal for his pet. Like evry other exotic pets, after Presly's death, the mammals were taken from the comfort of his mansion to the loneliness of the zoo.

The law gets difficult when you want to adopt tigers as pets. Mike Tyson was no exception. He had two female white Bengals named Kenya and Storm along with a golden male tabby named Boris.The tiger which you see with him in "The Handover" is his pet. Sources say that he spent around $4000 a month for its maintenance! When he failed to acquire proper license for holding them, they were taken from him and sent to a refuge in Colorado. The Kardashians have adopted a monkey and named it Suzy. The family has taken its naughty play sportively. Finding a place in the celebrity family has enabled Suzy to switch from stealing bananas to Blackberries! The family seems to be letting Suzy free to go around the house. Hopefully, she never forgets her diaper!
