The Real History of Ebay

Now a lot of people are under the impression that ebay was founded in 1995, but it was actually around along time before that. The same people would also have you believe that no one had a personal computer until 1986.....well if the first analogue computer (the Antikythera Mechanism) dates back to 87BC would it really have taken sooo long for people to have computers? Maybe you and I didn't have access to our own personal computers, the internet or even ebay, but the celebs of the day did and still do use ebay.

Albert Einstein was a renown genius who, despite having died in 1955, was named Time magazine's Person of the Century in 1999. It is hardly surprising that a genius would have their own computer and become hooked on ebay as well. I am sure that much musing went into his placing of bids.
