Botched Celebrity Plastic Surgery
I think that too many people are having work done on themselves, people should be happy with what god gave them. I don't believe in plastic surgery, unless someone has been disfigured. If you've been burned, ripped, turn it's perfectly natural to see what can be done to put yourself back the way you were. Celebrities take plastic surgery to an all time low. With so many of them going under the knife it makes sense that you would see more and more botched surgeries. I can understand being afraid of the aging process, but sometimes you just have to go with it and love yourself anyway. It is so sad when someone has a bad surgery and all you can say about them is they used to be so pretty.
Contents at a Glance
Hilary Duff
Jennifer Grey
Jennifer Grey didn't have a bad surgery, but it was still a mistake just the same. She was in several big hits in the 1980s, but after her nose job people didn't know who she was. She had changed the look of her face too much and didn't look like the girl who was in dirty dancing. It took her years to get back in the acting game, once she took a job in the short lived sitcom where she played herself just so people would know who she was again. Courtney Love
What can I say about Courtney? There was a short time in the early 2000s when she cleaned up her act and stopped drinking and doing drugs and it showed on her face, she looked honestly pretty. It didn't last long and since her not so great plastic surgery it has only gotten worse. She can still pull it together and look okay, but only in the few moments when she's sober. This was the best of both photos I could find, lately she's been looking a little like a zombie. No, I am not kidding.
Micheal Jackson
I don't want to speak ill of the dead, so all I will say is that addictions like plastic surgery can be harmful to your health. Maybe he wouldn't have been on so many pills if he hadn't had so many bad plastic surgeries. Burt Reynolds
I don't think men should get plastic surgery, they always end up looking like Burt Reynolds here. They either look shocked all the time or like they're standing in a wind tunnel. There was nothing wrong with his face before. Vanity will be their demise.
Poor Kenny
Singer Song writer Kenny Rogers was getting up there. He had been trying to improve himself for awhile even before for his plastic surgery nightmare. The man should have stopped at the weight loss. Now it doesn't even look like he can shut his eyes or blink. Like I said it before, men should be men, don't get work done. Carrot Top
Carrot Top was never very handsome, but there was a time he looked normal...almost. With his eyebrows that high, he almost looks like a terrible drag queen. I almost feel he would look better if he shaved them off and had hair implanted lower giving him a more natural eyebrow. Wait, I'm getting ahead of myself that is another surgery and would certainly go very wrong. Tara Reid
Tara Reid is still a very pretty girl, luckily she didn't have any work done on her face. However she had a wardrobe mishap on the red carpet that let everyone see and take pictures of a bad boob job that she hadn't been able to fix at that time. She also had botched liposuction, a good surgeon would have told her that she was far to thin for lipo in the first place. You can see it in her skin, light ripples that shouldn't be there.
Mikey Rouke
Mikey Rouke was an actor in the 1980s. He was somewhat of a hunk, then he turned to boxing and boy did he take a few hits. He claims that he had to have a face lift because of the years he was in the ring, even if that were true they went way to far.Mikey now only gets jobs playing creepy cartoon-like villains.
Heidi Montag
I saved the worst for last. Heidi made her less than stellar rise to fame on the hills, the truth is she used to be very naturally pretty. It was the kind of beauty that made other people jealous because she didn't have to work for it. After ten surgeries in one day, not only does she look like a vapid shallow sex-bot (Austen Powers Sex-bot), her head has gotten bigger. Maybe from swelling, maybe from implants. This once lovely girl, doesn't look the same and will never be truly pretty again. Amazon

- I was thinking about hair transplantation years ago, but now I just put a big hat on my bald head and it emphasize my character much more than a bunch of hair, right? And I am also few inches taller!

- I once considered having a facelift just to fix my aging neck, but I decided it was really not "me" and there were plenty of other things to spend my money on besides facial surgery. These case studies are really horrible - if the rich can't get a good job done, what about us? Faggedaboutdit.

- You were so right not to do it, my mom looked into life style lifting as a joke and only 50 percent actually like the outcomes. Just think of spending 6,000 dollars and end up hating your face.

- Ummm, I hadn't really considered the comparison before, but I have to agree with SudokuNut, plastic surgery often does make the individual look like a Madame Tussaud waxwork. It is sad really. I guess everyone is trying to hold on to youth or at least the youthful look, but it sure can go seriously wrong. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

- Plastic surgery never looks good on men. Wayne Newton looked like cartoon character last time I saw him on TV and Axl Rose looked like a waxwork at Madame Tussauds.

- I read an interview recently with Kenny Rogers and he said that he wouldn't have any more plastic surgery because he now has two small children and he wouldn't risk his life just to look different. I think that's rare though, among celebrities, who seem to think more is better, regardless of the risks.

- I agree with you on this subject, drastic plastic surgery should be something celebrities should avoid. Kenny Rogers used to be good looking, now he's a freak show!

- There seems to be a very fine line between good plastic surgery and bad, with very little margin for error. Even the rich and famous who can afford the best can't be sure of getting good results.

- I personally wouldn't have cosmetic surgery. In some cases it's the right decision - certainly for those who've been disfigured by nature or accident. But celebrity vanity does show the results of excess or unnecessary "procedures" and it doesn't make your life happer (just ask Kate, mother of 8).

- I don't care what anybody thinks about how I look. I did see a story yesterday about a young man who accidentally touched an electrical wire with the top of his head. His whole face was gone except a badly disfigured mouth. No eyes, no nose, it was so sad. He got a new face from a donor and though he'll never look like himself again, his little daughter told him he was so handsome now. That was a time when plastic surgery was actually necessary.

- I just remember that when I was a teen, I wanted to have a lipo on the butt. But I didn't do it. I don't have the money.
I also remember that when I did burn my legs (It was a chemical burn. I accidentally spilled a chemical used to clean toilets when I was getting ready for college.) in the 1990s (It was a minor burn), I did go to a Plastic Surgeon. He was a good Plastic Surgeon because he told me to wait it out in the summer (It was spring when I went to him) and don't wear shorts. Those scars are faint to the point that no one notices.
But you are right, the people who should only get plastic surgery are burn victims, or whose body parts are disfigured.

- Sad how people think they have to do this sort of thing to themselves in order for other people to like them. Even our quirky imperfections can make us loveable. Looking at ourselves in the mirror with a little sense of humour can help.
