    As I lovew in the UK, I haven't seen Schaer brand. I recommend Genius bread (available from glutenfree.com only in the US and Canada, or in any supermarket in the UK), and Orgran brand pasta (and other products).

    It wasn't hard to give up anything with gluten in it ~ in fact, I run the other way! To have a new beginning, when I fought digestive issues all my life, is simply incredible. Yes, gluten is the monster in the closet! Schaar bread is very good, though, and their pasta, if you have to have a fix. I hope more and more of their products will start showing up in our local grocery store. I can buy the Schaar pasta at our Harris Teeter, even though it's a bit expensive, a little goes a long way, it's better than regular pasta, and it helps get that pasta fix. It was harder to give up pasta for me than pizza or bread and desserts. Go Schaar! Thanks, Frann! B : )
