spins words into profits...
Daydreamer. Lazy. Classic underachiever. Overactive imagination. My teachers had a way with words on my report cards. Yes, I spent most of my school days staring out the window, wondering what was going on outside the classroom. Waiting for Some Day when I could write whatever I wanted. Poems. Stories. Fairytales. Now their words make me laugh. Tall tales about bums who starved and had to sleep on the subway. They insisted there were boogie men who would get me, so I needed a back-up plan. Something practical like becoming a secretary. What do they think now while reading my words in print? Published by newspapers and magazines nationwide. Hah. Fooled 'em. What a day for a daydream%u2026 I'm blowing the day to take a walk in the sun%u2026(and I) may be daydreaming for a thousand years %u2026{Whistle} (Lovin' Spoonful).
