Cell Phone Radiation Exposed

So, when I was attending college in 2003 at Oregon State University I was up late one night talking on my cell phone with a friend of mine from North Carolina. We didn't get to talk often so usually when we did talk it would be for an hour or two. After talking to my friend for over an hour I started to get a really bad headache. It was disturbing enough I had to ask my friend to go. The whole right side of my face, which was the side I was holding the cell phone on, felt like it was on fire. It was as if someone had drawn a line straight down the middle of my face and the whole right side of my head was hot. I took Excedrin, but it didn't help. The headache lasted at least three hours, though I can't remember for sure how long since it was so long ago. When it happened I started telling my friends about it that night. I told them I thought it was caused by the cell phone. They told me I was crazy. I was 99.9% sure it was from the cell phone. I started researching online. Even back in 2003 I found some interesting websites that talked about some research being done in Sweden and a few other countries. I found enough information to cause myself real concern. I told people about it, but again I was met with skepticism and outright laughter about how I was crazy and stupid and how if it wasn't safe it would never be allowed. Well recently I picked up a new book out on the market called, "DISCONNECTED," by Devra Davis.

Before picking up the book Disconnect I had not thought a lot about what happened to me in college in 2003. I had just been a cautious user of cell phones since, but this book has reawakened the passion, fear, concern, and desire to spread the word about the real dangers of cell phone use. I am a dad of three amazing little boys and the ramifications for cell phone use with kids is even worse. They are helpless consumers who do not question the safety of phones because their parents use them all the time. I am also a teacher and I see so many kids with cell phones now. The kids are the real unsuspecting victims here who believe that the government and adults will always protect them. Please read and research more about this on your own! Please read the book "Disconnect" you will not regret it. I promise it will shock and stun you. It will make you angry and some real life stories of brain cancer that affected real families will make you cry. Buy the book or check it out from your library. You owe it to yourself and your kids.
