Two exciting phones mixed with the anticipation of discovering which cellphone is rated the best of the two.
iPhone's biggest competition the Samsung Instinct, what are the similarities and differences? The word out is that Sprint produced a marketing campaign worth somewhere around a ball park figure of about $100 million dollars to prove that the Instinct is better than the iPhone.
On the Sprint website, you can watch videos of the comparisons. One video is funny, comparing the speech to action, voice recognition, feature, which notably, iPhone doesn't have. With the Instinct in hand, the guy voices the command "call michael" and it immediately responds.
He does the same thing with the iPhone, voicing the same command "call michael" the iPhone does nothing. Then, in the background someone comes in with a megaphone and shouts the voice command again, towards the iPhone "call michael" and still nothing happens. It got a few laughs from me.
I have to applaud Sprint, though, for their boldness to brag, being that they did model the Instinct after the iPhone. But, this is not considered illegal, throughout recorded history, companies did this all the time, and It continues on today.
