Centre Point Hotels in Bangkok
The main reason why I like to stay in Centre Point hotels is that the room I stay in is a home away from home. I'm allowed to bring guests into my room whenever I want, without hotel management demanding I pay an extra fee. All Centre Point properties are considered guest friendly hotels in Bangkok.
The way I planned this review was to write about my own experiences in these hotels. I also did some research online to find out other comments about Centre Point hotels from other travelers. As a result I wasn't surprised that I didn't find any serious negative comments at all. Any Centre Point hotel in Bangkok is a great hotel to stay in for your vacation in the Kingdom of Thailand.
Even though the Centre Point properties are technically serviced apartments you will find that all of the rooms are fully furnished. Some with full kitchens and even washer/dryers. But all have modern fitness centers and a decent sized pool for you to relax in. If you plan to drive a car in Bangkok you will also have access to the hotels parking lot as well as 24 hour security guards. Plus there is a free daily buffet breakfast included in the rates. What I like best of all is that all the rooms have either wireless or LAN Internet connection for all of their guests.
Currently there are 7 Centre Point hotel properties that are close to the main attractions of Bangkok and trains systems such as the BTS Sky Train and MRT underground train that will speed you around Bangkok in no time.
I've listed all of the Centre Point hotels in order of price range. You can't go wrong with any of them but if you ask me which is my personal favorite I will say Centre Point Petchburi. I've stayed there for 2 years straight before and it's an excellent value and location.
Centre Point Hotel Location Map

Centre Point Petchburi
Rates start at 2230THB per night includes taxes and breakfast
Centre Point Petchburi 15
6 Soi 15, Petchburi Rd.,
Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400
The Centre Point Petchburi is my favorite Centre Point hotel because of the close proximity to most major shopping zones such as Pantip Plaza, Siam Paragon, Central World Department Store and Pratunam.
The rooms here and the lobby was renovated back in 2007 and everything is well maintained by the hard working housekeeping staff and maintenance crews. All rooms come with free Internet connection and room safes. Best thing of all the bathrooms are big.
They also have some very nice hotel facilities such as gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi and washers and dryers.
Traffic is really bad here so try to avoid taking a taxi during rush hour. The closest Sky Train can be taken at Phaya Thai BTS station. But it is a 10 minute walk though. Or what you can do is walk through Central Department store and enjoy the AC before getting onto the elevated walkway which takes you to Chitlom BTS Station. This will take about a 20 minute walk. But at least there's more to see on this route.

Centre Point Silom
Rates start at 2250THB per night includes taxes and breakfast
Centre Point Silom
1552/2 Soi 50, Charoenkrung Rd.,
Bangrak, Bangkok 10500
The Centre Point Silom is located in the commercial business district of Bangkok. I stayed here when I had to do some consulting with a firm near this hotel. So there is a mix of apartment residents as well as lots of vacationers.
The rooms here are well kept and managed by housekeeping and maintenance. The west side of the building as a wonderful view of the Chao Praya River, very beautiful when the day is clear and you can see far.
The only downside is that this hotel a bit far from major sights, attractions and shopping. However, the nearest Sky Train can be taken at Saphan Taksin BTS station. Want a little bit of adventure? Try exploring Bangkok by using the public river boat transports. It's really cheap and interesting to see how people still live by the river.

Centre Point Sukhumvit 10
Rates start at 2700THB per night includes taxes and breakfast
Centre Point Sukhumvit 10
39 Soi 10, Sukhumvit Rd.,
Klong Toey, Bangkok 10110
Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 puts you right in the heart to of Bangkok. The surrounding area gives you direct access to major shopping areas, great restaurants and close to Bangkok's notorius nightlife zones such as Soi Cowboy and Nana Entertainment Plaza.
Like the rest of the Centre Point properties, this hotel is well kept and maintained. The facilities are even better as this hotel is in a major commercial district area.
The closest Sky Train can be taken at Asoke BTS station. You'll also have nearby access to the MRT, Bangkok's underground train station at the Sukhumvit station. Both trains are able transport you to other main attractions in Bangkok fast and cheap.

Centre Point Langsuan
Rates start at 2000THB per night includes taxes and breakfast
Centre Point Langsuan
60 Soi 1, Langsuan Rd.,
Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330
The Centre Point Langsuan is named after the street that it is located on. The immediate area is mainly residential with a lot of high end apartments and condos. Partly due to the fact that the next street over is filled with international embassies.
So you know the quality and class will be high when you stay here. The last time I was here I booked a two bedroom suite to share with a college buddy of mine. It's a great deal since there is a bathroom for each bedroom. It's also one of the few Centre point hotels with carpet so be careful which was nice.

Centre Point Sala Daeng
Rates start at 2300THB per night includes taxes and breakfast
Centre Point Saladaeng
5 Soi Saladaeng 1, Silom Road,
Bangkok 10500
Centre Point Sala Daeng puts you in a quiet neighborhood just south of Silom, where you can find Patpong filled with go-go bars and clubs. Also not too far is Suan Lum Night Bazaar, a great place to find souvenirs, drink beer and the beer garden and enjoy some great food.
To get to the other main attractions of Bangkok you can take the MRT at the Lumphini station or take a tuk tuk or taxi to the Sala Daeng BTS station to catch a Sky Train.
But to be honest most people stay near here to enjoy the nightlife offerings of Patpong.
Just like the rest of all the other Centre Point properties this hotel is impeccably managed and take care of.

Centre Point Wireless Road
Rates start at 2350THB per night includes taxes and breakfast
Centre Point Wireless Road Hotel
100 Wireless Road, Lumpini,
Patumwan, Bangkok 10330
Don't let the weird name fool you. Wireless Road is quite important as this location contains important embassies such as the United States. And just like other Centre Point Hotels, Wireless Road is named after their sister property.
I've personally never stayed here before but from what I've heard and read from other reviews this is the cream of the crop in the Center Point hotel chain. So if you have the money to indulge then go ahead and treat yourself.
The nearest Sky Train stations are Chidlom BTS and Ploen Chit. Both of these trains are still about a 10-15 minute walk. To be honest if you can afford the rates here you can probably afford to take the taxis every day.

Centre Point Sukhumvit-Thonglor
Rates start at 4450THB per night includes taxes and breakfast
Centre Point Sukhumvit -Thonglor
Soi Thong Lor (Sukhumvit 55)
Bangkok 10110
This Centre Point hotel is located in the trendy fashionable district of Thonglor. This is one of the newest properties which is why it's the most expensive and as I mentioned before in a very trendy area. There are lots of trendy bars and clubs nearby, mostly frequented by well to do Thais who live around the area.
As a consequence of staying in an up and coming area, things do cost a bit more compared to other areas in Bangkok.
Again if you can afford the rates here I guess you don't really have to worry about paying an extra 20THB or so for anything.
The nearest Sky Train to this hotel is the Thong Lo BTS station, about a 10-15 mintue walk down to Sukhumvit.

- Great info on Centre Point hotels. So far I've stayed in 3 of their properties, the Petchburi, Silom and Sukhumvit. All are the best valued hotels in Bangkok, bar none. I think a lot of people are not too familiar with serviced apartments and your lens, I'm sure has helped educate a lot of people that they are just as good as hotels if not better.

- My friend recommended your website. This is my first trip to Bangkok and I chose Centre Point 10 because its close to the red light districts. I was so surprised that Centre Point is such high quality. I picked a superior room and it was huge with new furniture, a small kitchen and a big gym downstairs. Swimming pool was really good too. Service was excellent. Thanks for showing me where to book a room at a discount too.

- Thank you for recommending Centre Point 15 on Petchburi. The hotel is a real home away from home. I was given a room on the 7th floor, non-smoking, and as you instructed asked for room facing Petchburi road. The breakfast was great and the swimming pool although small was nice. This is a hotel I would be happy to return again.
