No. People who find their careers in the crime scene clean up industry need not have to posses an advanced degree, in fact, not even a college diploma is asked of from a crime scene cleaner applicant. However, there involves a lot of special trainings in order for one to be considered as a certified crime scene cleaner. They have to obtain several types of certification in the field. Although it is not a white-collar job so to speak, the valuable service they offer especially to the affected parties to bring back the pristine condition of the place before the crime happened is highly regarded in terms of compensation. I am trying to find out the certifications needed in GA as well as where I can obtain my certifications to start a crime scene clean up business, any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
