Champion Dragon Boats
Champions were the first dragon boats to be certified by the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) in Asia. Champions have since become synonymous with quality and durability worldwide. Champion dragon boats have been designated by IDBF during World Dragon Boat Racing Championships and Club Crew World Dragon Boat championships; and also designated by the International Canoe Federation (ICF) for World Dragon Boat Racing Championships.

The variety of colours available is limited only by your imagination.
Owners can choose from over 500 hull, scale and scale frame (the colour surrounding the scales) colours to make a unique statement.

Vancouver's Dragon Zone Moves G3 Champion 1222 to its new home
Gorgeous New Dragon Sighted on False Creek!
Members of Vancouver's Dragon Zone© Paddling Club take delivery of a new Champion 1222 dragon boat. The boat was provided by Nightstar Yacht Sales Ltd., exclusive Canadian distributor of Champion Dragon Boats, to support BC athletes as they prepare for championship competition.
The boat will be utilized by teams practicing for the 2011 IDBF World Championships in Tampa, Florida, which will be using Champion Dragon Boats during the competition.
The teams, including FCRCC Starbuck's Waverunners, Riptide, Lifescan, Master of the d'zone & FCRCC High Performance, will also use the Champion to prepare for the 2012 World Club Crew Championship in Hong Kong.

- Looking for a scale model, 36" approx. to use at events to get donations, recruit, etc., complete with head, paddles. Anyone done this yet?

- Not that I'm aware of. I've seen smaller sculptures, primarily from Thailand, but nothing of the scale you mentioned.

- Oh, these are fabulous! I was intrigued by the article's title because I was clueless what a dragon boat looked like. They are awesome! Now I want to see the races :) A younger version of myself would want to be in one. lol
