Overview of ChanPoker

ChanPoker.com is a brand new online poker site headed by the legendary poker player Johnny Chan.  Chan has been playing in the largest poker tournaments in the world for over two decades and was also made famous in the cult classic movie Rounders.

ChanPoker.com is part of the Ongame poker network.  They have a great setup, awesome graphics and one of the best bonuses in the poker industry.  I'll go into more depth in the following sections.

Graphics and Interface at ChanPoker

The graphics on Chan Poker are very well laid out and easy to navigate. The screen has some minor adjustments from the other rooms on the Ongame network, and overall I think it has a better feel to it.

The lobby is setup in a very organized manner which makes it easy to toggle between different cash games and tournaments. The cashier is easy to access and making deposits/withdraws are pretty easy to handle.

Competition at ChanPoker 

The competition at ChanPoker.com is some of the easiest I have ever played against. There are players at the 5/10 level who shouldn't even be sitting down at a 1/2 table. The cash games are pretty easy to pick apart as well as the sit and goes.

The tournaments seem to be growing in number every week which is always a good sign. ChanPoker has brought a lot of new players in, so the higher buy in tournaments are now beginning to see a regular crowd. They're also seeing an increase in the amount of freerolls going on each week.

Deposit options at ChanPoker 

ChanPoker has many deposit options since they do not allow US players. The easiest way to deposit is credit card, Firepay and Neteller. Here are all of the deposit options...

ChanPoker is part of the Ongame network. There are many major skins on this network, so they have a large amount of traffic. Their peak average is around 6000-7000 real money players. The majority of their traffic is at the Hold em tables, with Omaha also making up a lot of their players.

Signup Bonus at ChanPoker 

The signup bonus at ChanPoker.com is one of the largest in the online poker industry. The bonus is a 100% deposit bonus which can be used to get up to $1000 in free bonus money. So if you deposit $1000, then you will receive a $1000 bonus. The bonus requires 7 player points for every dollar. So for $20 in bonus money, you need to clear 140 player points. If you casually play a few hours of poker each day, you'll clear the bonus in a few weeks.
