Scenic Landscape New Address Postcards

The simplest way to announce a change of address to friends, family and co-workers - and in a way that will get their attention!- is to send an awesome postcard.

I have done a lot of moving - 11 times in my adult life - and with all the packing, loading boxes, unloading and unpacking, there is enough to do and think about without having to continuously tell people over and over what your new address and phone number is.

I suggest sending cards they will not misplace (hopefully).  It can be cute, funny, or realistic, and only you know which kind of card says "me" or "my family" all over it.

Most of the seashell and country photo cards on this page are mine and I've added some information and background if you are interested.  But not all are mine, and I think you'll find a nice variety to choose from.  Please sign my guestbook at the bottom of the page....thank you!

Home, Sweet, Country Home Cards

Interiors, entryways & happy places

If you are moving to the country or want a "homey" card, choose one of these that portray a welcoming feel. Choose from an artistic window sill with potted plants and curtains in the window, or log home photography, a little pink house by the lake, or a sepia toned entry way.

I enjoy drawing and I do far too little of it, but the "window sill" card above is a drawing I did a few years ago. I thought it would make a homey looking card and to my great surprise it has been one of my best selling moving announcments.

Fun Castle Cards

If you think of your new place as your castle, these cards might be perfect for using to announce that you have a new residence.

*The card on the left contains a photo from the Searles Castle in Windham, NH. My oldest son was married there in 2007 and I got a few nice photos the day I accompanied him, and his wife-to-be, to meet with the photographer and make some arrangements. It was snowy and cold the day they were married so I was glad to have this sunny photo and thought it would be a fun moving card.

*The card on the right is by a talented artist and you can see more work by Houk by visiting houk's Store at Zazzle, or just click on his card above.

Moving to the Country

Scenic New England is portrayed in these photography postcards. Easily add all moving information to the back. Just click on a card to get started.

I took these photos in southern New Hampshire.
*The view from the hill, past the white fence, was taken at Dimond Hill Farm just outside of Concord. I used to buy vegetables there the summer I lived in that area and always loved the view. One day I had my camera with me and took this photo from the driveway (the farm stand was inside the barn/garage which was attached to a big yellow house).

*The little old bridge is near where I live now and recently a large beaver house had to be moved from under the bridge. He ,the beaver - or maybe many beavers, had decided that living under that bridge was a good idea. Unfortunately his large log home was preventing the flow of water from the mountains down into the lake and it had to be taken care of to prevent flooding.

*These seashells are part of my collection. I began photographing them for my zazzle Beachcombers store about a year ago. I either collected them or bought them while living in Florida. Did you know that Sanibel Island, on the gulf coast of Florida is the 3rd best area for shelling in the world?

*The water photo was taken in Meredith, New Hampshire when I traveled there to visit my ex-brother-in-law who had purchase a house. A boat show was taking place at the docks in town and it was a beautiful day for some photos. This is the northern end of the largest lake in New Hampshire; Lake Winnipesaukee.

Change of Address Postcards - We're Moving! postcardWe've Moved Cityscape - Postcard postcard

I've never been a city girl and can't understand why anyone would want to live among so many people in tiny apartments with no land! Acutally I do understand. I realize that there is much to do in the city and cities can be beautiful places. It's just not my thing. These photo cards are not mine.
Important!

Don't Forget!!

After you tell Mom and the Boss,
Notify the IRS of your new address, which also notifies the Social Security Administration.

If you aren't too busy packing for the move please say hello!

Be Thankful That You Have a Home

I do not own a home of my own and that makes me sad, but I rent a lovely place and I am continuously thankful that I live in a decent house with food to eat and beds to sleep in.
Your home might not be the place you dreamed it would be - or maybe it is - but there are plenty of people all over the US and other countries, who are not as fortunate.
Please read this excellent lens and find a way to get involved in helping the homeless.
