This medicine is amazing! It really makes the nicotine cravings non existent! The only craving I get is from the habit part of being a smoker, but then without the nicotine craving, I'm able to rationalize it and not even want to have one. I am approaching four (4) weeks without one cigarette using Chantix although I had 2 stressful events the very first week including the death of a friend. I just wanted to say I'm only on day 4 and the cravings are so much less. In the past two days I have had only 9 cigarettes I am a pack a day smoker. I haven't noticed any side effects besides the vivid dreams but that's no big deal as long as their good ones. I really don't see this being a problem at all. I have three more days until my quit date. Maybe I'll stop before then. -Eric

    I am on my 3rd time, which I am sure I will do it this time. I had a few things in life that happened that made start back up. This time I will do it. chantix does work.

    Bad dreams and feeling down But I am not smoking!!! Love this new life I put the money I would have spent $5 a day in a jar has 45 in it.

    I am about to start Chantix, tried the patch terrible dreams, I work in a very stressfull office, and I need to quit have a grandbaby on the way, any help out there to keep on track, I don't want to gain weight, that is a fear. I have read the above hope it works for me

    10 of us in our family have stopped smoking thanks to Chantix. I didn't even want to stop but had to because my wife was quitting and it still worked for me. every one says the key to it working is to continue to smoke that first week your supposed to, then for a couple of weeks after that just purposely slip up a couple of times. Because then it taste awful etc and your brain remembers it as an unpleasant experience other then a pleasant one. IT killed my stomach...my only side effect was right after taking it it hurt my stomach...my wife and I only stayed on it for 3 weeks and we are done its been 3 months now. Its works!!!

    I m on it now for 2 weeks, quite amazing on helping you quit. I tried it all!
    Patch, ouch, gum,sore jaw, Zyban, I was mean, this is great. Your cravings do disappear, some nausa, vivid dreams. I even had drinks last night at a bar, and my friend smoked, I did not want one. I was very proud of me!
