Chantelle Houghton became famous after winning UK Celebrity Big Brother in 2006. Entering the house as an unknown she was given the task of convincing her other celebrity housemates that she was as famous as them. Her cover story was that she was part of a girl band called Kandy Floss who's most famous single was "I Want It Right Now".

During her time in the Big Brother House she met Preston from band The Ordinary Boys. In August of 2006 she married Preston but the pair announced their separation in June 2007.
