Squidoo is a great way to earn money for charity. Whether it's thousands of dollars or a steady, reliable drip of pennies and dollars, using lenses to earn donations for charity has helped thousands of people find resources they need.

How do I add a charity to your list?
Charities that are ready and willing to accept PayPal donations can sign up by visiting our Apply to be a partner nonprofit page.
Once you are approved and added, your friends and volunteers can sign up for Squidoo and set their lenses to default all royalties to YOUR organization. That means you can have dozens or hundreds of people, each with 5 or 10 or 20 lenses of their own, that are all donation money to your organization for free forever. Raising awareness for you, too.
At any time, charities are welcome to use Squidoo to promote themselves and their awesome causes.

Can I choose which charity I send my donations to?
Absolutely! In the workshop (edit screen) of each lens, click edit in the Payment Options section in the right column. Here you can choose a charity from the drop-down menu, and even split your donations to go to multiple locations.
Or, to change all your lenses at once, go to the My Profile tab of your dashboard and scroll down to the Payment Options section.

What about donation receipts for my taxes?
Since Squidoo is sending donations to charities on your behalf, and you're not actually earning the money as income first, you won't get a receipt for your taxes. In the end, it comes out equal.
If you'd prefer to deduct the donation, or if your charity of choice isn't on our list, you can collect your earnings as cash and donate them on your own. Check with your accountant and that charity to see how earnings and donations will affect you.

How can I change payment settings on just one lens?
If your lens has been set to go to cash and you want to set it to go to a charity OR it's set to go to a charity and you want it to go to cash OR you want to change the charity your money should go to:
1. Log in to your account and edit the lens you wish to change the settings on.
2. Scroll down to the Payment Options section in the right column.
3. Change the settings as per your preferences!
