Charlie Brown Christmas Decorations

One of my fondest Christmas Memories is watching Charlie Brown Christmas on TV when it would come on once a year. It never really felt like Christmas until I got to watch Charlie Brown. But it is the tree to me that symbolizes the beauty of the season.

I remember growing up with financial issues most of my childhood. My Mom would always say, "It looks like it is going to be a Charlie Brown Christmas." And what she meant by that was that she and Dad didn't have much money to spend. But those were the best Christmases. There were 5 of us kids and we would make home made Christmas ornaments and lots and lots of cookies. And we would play lots of games and have fun singing. We had a real tree that was decorated and you could really feel the spirit of Christmas. There wasn't many gifts under the tree but we always felt the love.

So each year when I see anything about Charlie Brown it reminds me of all the Charlie Brown Christmases I have had over the years and it reminds me of my many blessings. This Charlie Brown's Tree with Blanket is so simple, yet so symbolic of what the holiday is all about.
