Meet A Very Imaginative Brother and Sister
Charlie and Lola is fun series targeted at preschool audiences about a boy named Charlie and his sister, Lola. Featuring a unique "collage" animation style and catchy background themes, the show follows the pair as Charlie helps out his often rather independent-minded sister, Lola. Charlie and Lola will delight both young children and parents alike.
Meet Charlie and His Little Sister Lola
She is small.........and very funny.
Charlie and Lola is my 5-year-old daughter's favorite show and I LOVE it as well. It is a rare treat when a children's program comes along that an adult can look forward to watching as well. The animation is stunning and engaging with a mixed media approach of bright colors, photographs, and simple drawings. This style suits Lola's ingenious imagination so well. Lola can be a bit stubborn about things, just like real life girls her age, like not wanting to go to bed, or doing things on her own, but her dear big brother Charlie is caring and patient with her. He knows how to come up with a creative solution to help Lola see a different point of view with his own imagination. Lola also has her own imaginary friend, Soren Lorensen.
The most wonderfullest episode for ever and ever.

Charlie and Lola are the principal characters from a series of children's picture books by Lauren Child. The stories are narrated by seven-year-old Charlie, and focus on the antics of his imaginative and excitable four-year-old sister, Lola. The books as well as the television series also emphasise the relationship between closely-aged siblings.
The first "Charlie and Lola" book, I Will Not Ever Never Eat a Tomato, published in 2001, won the prestigious Kate Greenaway Medal. The character of Lola was based upon an inquisitive little girl whom Child encountered on a train in Denmark. The parents have been mentioned but not seen.

- This has become one of my 6 year old son's favorite show. It is one of the few cartoons he can really relate to. He doesn't have a little sister, but he has a 3 year old neice, Patience, (Yeah, my son was an uncle at 3 years old, there's 18 years between my daughter and son) who acts a lot like Lola, without the British accent. Super job on this lens.
