Who is Charlie's (Squid) Angel?
When I was first informed that I had been appointed a Squid Angel by Squidoo HQ my partner had only one question! Let me first explain why the question arose!
As those who have encountered me in Squidu will know I use an avatar or picture there of a cat. The cat in question is Charlie. He is a wonderful little fellow who ever since we brought him home from the Rescue Centre has attached himself to me. He follows me around, cuddles up to me on the sofa and sulks when I am not around! Charlie has his own lens of course and that can be found at Charlie Cat At Home!
So the question I was asked was......"Does you becoming a Squid Angel mean that you are now Charlie's Angel?"
So in creating this lens about my activity as a Squid Angel I decided that it was only appropriate to use the url Charlie's Angel!
To answer the question "Who is Charlie's Angel?" Charlie's Angel is Paul Duxbury aka pkmcr and this lens will set out what I look for in a lens which I think deserves to be "blessed by A Squid Angel."

What Is A Squid Angel?
Squidoo HQ appoints a number of people to be Squid Angels from time to time. There are currently 32 Squid Angels together with various other folks (Organisers, Greeters) who have the ability to bless Lenses.Squidoo describes Squid Angels as "passionate lensmasters who spend a lot of time looking at lenses on Squidoo, and have special powers to bless great lenses with a few extra LensRank points."
Squid Angels also work to ensure that the spam and inappropriate lenses are dealt with in an appropriate way. This helps to keep the quality of lenses high overall although at times it can be an uphill battle!
A Mission For Charlie's Angel!
Ever since I started working online my aim (or mission) has been to provide content in the niches in which I chose to operate which informs, educates, entertains or enables people to take positive action in their lives
What Do I Look For in A Lens?
Strange as some people may find it deciding to bless a Lens can be quite an easy decision. There are so many amazing lensmasters and lenses on Squidoo that quite often there are not enough hours in the day to enable the Squid Angels to bless all those that are worthy of being blessed!In setting my criteria for blessing a lens I am obviously guided by what Squidoo HQ wants which is to see Lensmasters recognised who contribute to creating the amazing content which Squidoo contains. In addition I am looking for lenses which:
Inform - so if your lens has great information about a topic which is also well presented or beautifully crafted then I am likely to bless it.
Educate - if your lens enables the reader to learn something new and is well presented then you would probably find yourself being blessed by Charlie's Angel
Entertain - if your lens makes the visitor laugh or keeps them engrossed as you guide them through it then it's possible that you will find your lens being blessed
Enable - if as a result of visiting your lens the reader feels enabled or empowered to take on a challenge, deal with an issue or achieve change in their life - then you may well find yourself being blessed by Charlie's Angel
