Prue Halliwell
Prue is the oldest sister, played by Shannen Doherty. A Type-A personality, she's ambitious, driven, and always needs to be in control. As the oldest sister, Prue is protective of her younger sisters and would do anything for them.
Prue's power is telekinesis. She later develops the power of astral projection, effectively learning to transport her "astral" self telekinetically.

Piper, played by Holly Marie Combs, is the middle sister prior to Prue's death, and acts as mediator and peacemaker between her sisters. When she is thrust into the roll of oldest sister, Piper assumes a more assertive demeanor.
Piper's power is the ability to freeze time. Later, her power expands, enabling her to explode objects.

Phoebe, played by Alyssa Milano, is the youngest sister until Paige is discovered. A free-spirit, Phoebe is the most eager of the three to embrace her new powers.

Paige, played by Rose McGowan, is the long lost baby sister of the Charmed Ones who assumes the role of the third Charmed One in season four.
Paige's power is telekinesis. Unlike Prue, her power comes from a combination of her witch and Whitelighter background so she uses her orbing power to move objects. Her Whitelighter power is the ability to "orb", or transport herself at will.

I always thought Prue was quite negative and suspicious - and she seems to always be angry. Paige was much lighter. After Prue died, Piper was a great older sister - moderate and a peacekeeper - which helped her when she became a mom.

Ahh I love them both. It's cruel to make us pick one over the other! LoL but in the end I picked Paige because she's more fun and I just adore her personality.

I really liked Prue, so when she died and was replaced by Paige, I was NOT happy! But then I guess I just got used to Paige and kind of liked her.

- I always liked Piper - I think because she was the middle sister - like I am - the middle of 3 girls... And I loved watching her relationship with Leo develop and grow...

- I miss this show... naturally, at first it was all about the babes, and even though Shannon was my least favorite, she really fits the Prue role, but it was all Alyssa for me... Too bad it had to end...
Piper's drama with his husband grew tiresome after a couple of episode... he's such a weakling for a guy with that much 'power'...
