Christmas without Christmas songs is not Christmas at all!

I'll admit that I know very few of these. My mum is crazy about the Wombles song though!

I think we can safely say that Christmas doesn't always inspire the best records :)

    Nicely put together,

I love Christmas songs.. there's always something special about them. no matter how old they are, or how edgy they try to make it. it's just magic. can't wait for Christmas already! :)

Interesting lens! My personal favourite Christmas song of all time is without doubt The Pogues 'Fairytale of New York'; has hit the top 10 for the last three years now and I'm sure it'll do so again in 2008. I must admit I'm not so keen on the Christmas songs of the 70s, but still very much enjoyed reading through your lens.

These Christmas songs of the 1970s are some that I love to listen to over the festive season.
