Cheap Couples Halloween Costumes

Every year, my husband and I throw a Halloween party for all of our friends, family and neighbors. And every year, we are amazed with the unique and fun costumes that people come up with. Everyone loves it because we make it an adults only party so our friends find babysitters and get to have a fun night out with the rest of their friends. Since kids aren't invited, we usuallly end up with lots of fun couples costumes. Our friends that came as a gladiator couple won the best costume contest and they won a blue ribbon along with the halloween gift basket door prize.

You can see in the photo to the right, that in 2008, my husband and I dressed up like a Samarai warrior and geisha girl. It was a blast, but I won't be doing a make-up costume for a while. It was a pain in the butt to remove!
