Cute And Cheap Dog Costumes
It's a lot of fun to dress your dog up for Halloween. There's so many cute and funny costumes to choose from, it's no wonder that around 11% of pet owners are planning for their pooch to dress in a costume this year.
But, do you really need to spend a fortune on a pet costume? I never spent much money on my own costumes, so I don't see myself spending a lot on an animal who would rather chew up an outfit than wear it.
So I set up to make a list of costumes that were both adorable and affordable. I decided to use $15 as the cut off, not counting shipping or taxes. A lot of times free shipping is available and taxes usually only apply to one state. I tried to find as many as possible that are $10 and under. Some of these are sales prices, so while they are less than $15 as I write they could go up in price.
I hope you'll find this list of cheap dog costumes helpful as you do your Halloween shopping.

Hot Diggity Dog Halloween Costume
A hot dog is one of the classic Halloween costumes for dogs, especially for dachshunds. Not only is it cute, it's available for under $10. While it doesn't look that comfortable, it's actually. pretty comfy for dogs since they won't have to wear one of those annoying hats that is so common in Halloween costumes for dogs.
Dogzilla Dog Dinosaur Costume
The dinosaur Halloween costume for dogs is another cute but inexpensive option. It comes in a variety of sizes and is a one-piece costume. It uses Velcro closures for easy on and off. It's pretty comfortable for dogs, though not all will like the hood. If that's a problem, it's easy to push the hood back. It has an advantage over costumes that use hats, since the hood can't fall off or get lost.
Since it is one piece and won't fall apart, it's great for trick or treating. Dogs will have no problem walking in it.
Lil' Stinker Skunk Costume for Dogs

This costume is perfect for anyone who thinks their dog is a little stinker. The skunk costume is an adorable costume for any dog, boy or girl.
It's soft and comfortable for your dog. It has velcro tabs so you won't struggle to get it on or take it off. It's a durable outfit that can be reused for years.

“Stay Safe! Halloween can be dangerous for your dog, so keep candy out of their reach.”
Dog Football Costume

Fall is football season! Combine the fun of football with Halloween in this funny costume for your dog. Your pet will get tons of laughs in this outfit. But this is perfect for well trained dogs, or for some quick picture taking.
Dog Cow Costume
This costume is udderly hilarious! (groan). If you feel like disguising your dog as a cow for Halloween, this is the perfect outfit. It has two pieces. One is the headpiece with the horns. The other is the cow patterned cape with attached udders.Your dog may be embarrassed by wearing this outfit, but everyone who sees her will think she's cute. It's both affordable and good looking.

Finding a cheap pirate costume for your dog isn't easy. This one manages to be affordable and looks just as good as any of the other ones. It's machine washable, so you can use it for more than one year, or hand it down to another dog for next year's holiday season.
The pirates hat has a nice feather attached, and the outfit is quite classy for your canine swashbuckler.
