What Is Halloween?

Halloween is a holiday celebrated on October 31. Halloween is often associated with the colors orange and black, and symbols such as the jack-o'-lantern and witches. Halloween activities include wearing costumes (people of all ages), trick-or-treating (activity for the kids), ghost tours and visiting haunted attractions, costume parties, carving jack-o'-lanterns (AKA carving pumpkins), entering decorative pumpkins in pumpkin contests, pranking (or tricking) people (no mean pranks!), watching scary horror movies, and reading scary stories.

Halloween Safety

Safety Tips:

1. Wear bright colors while trick-or-treating.

2. Use a flashlight at night.

3. Pin child's phone number and name in the costume.

4. Leave the carving to adults.

2. Don't wear a sheet and wrap your entire body in gauze.

3. Skip the gauze and buy a really cool mummy outfit from Amazon :)

A Box Of Tissues

Suggestions:

1. If blue is not your color, paint the box a different color.

2. Tape tissue or tissue paper on it. Tissue might be too thin, the thicker tissue paper might work better.

3. Use pre-made stickers or stencil letters and cut them out. Be sure to glue (or tape) to both the front and back of the box. The cheapes way would be to just use markers and draw it on.
