Cheap Chili Recipe

I've been a single guy for a while now, and one of the few things I can make from scratch is chili. Oh ya I forgot to tell you that I can eat it for days on like $5. This recipe was my mom's and I always loved it when it was chili night. When I moved out when I was around 18 I was single, broke and couldn't cook. In the 7 years since then I am still single, broke and can't cook. I've learned how to grocery shop on a very cheap budget and this chili recipe can really stretch a dollar. Plus it's like 3 ingredients so you've got to try really hard to screw this one up.

Ingredients:

simple is bliss

1 can 30 oz Brooks Beans (I like the hot variety)
45 oz of Hunt's Tomato Sauce
Elbow Noodles

Directions:

follow closely

First combine the Brooks beans and Hunts tomato sauce into a pot and cook on low heat.
Second put elbow noodles in separate pot mix with water and heat till it boils.

When the noodles start boiling keep an eye on it till the noodles taste like they are down. I never really know how to judge without just eating them throughout the cooking process. Once they get to your desired tenderness strain out the noodles and add it to the beans and the tomato sauce pot. Basically at this point your done. There you have it Cheap Mans Chili

Additional Ingredients:Not Crucial

if you want to spice it up a bit

Cheddar Cheese
Ground Beef
Onions

I guess you can really do a lot to spice this one up. I know I eat it pretty plain Jane, but I'm sure you can get pretty in depth with the ingredients you can add to it.
