Cheap homemade presents that are easy to make!

So you may be pinching pennies, but that doesn't mean that you can't give a sweet and thoughtful gift to that special person.  The best way to save money or not spend any at all is to make your own gift.

Cheap presents that are homemade are very special because they come from the heart.

Growing up, my family really never had a lot of extra money (especially during the holidays) so most of the time all of our gifts for our cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents and everyone else were homemade!

When I was little I was always sort of embarrassed that we really couldn't buy anything. So I was very touched recently when one of my cousins told me (out of the blue) that she always loved our presents the most because they were very thoughtful and came from the heart. 

So don't be embarrassed about making homemade presents.

This lens is all about creating cheap presents that are made with love for any special occasion including but not limited to: Birthdays, Christmas, Mother's day, Father's day, Teacher presents, Housewarming, baby gifts or any other special time you need them for!

Bookmarks make great cheap presents!

Custom Made Bookmarks

The great thing about bookmarks is that you can customize them to say pretty much anything you want them to say.

You can add the recipients name, a favorite poem, favorite verse, a picture of their grandchild, child or a loved one, pressed flowers and pretty much anything you can think of!

Make some pretty paper roses!

Who says cheap presents have to look cheap? Not so as you'll see below!

These paper roses are very easy to make. All you really need is either crepe paper or you can also use tissue paper which is what these are made with because that's all I had in the house.

This color is a sea foam but imagine how pretty it would look with pink, white and yellow!

The bigger you can make them the prettier they are! As you can see this one is very large. You can't even see my hand.

Cheap Presents For Women & Men

These little magnets are cute and can be for both men AND women.

So who doesn't like refrigerator magnets?

This is a very cheap present that you can make for both men and women! All you need to do is customize the picture to suite the person.

If its for a guy..does he like cars?

Find color pictures of his favorite 4 vehicles, or maybe shots of the grand kids, favorite quotes or whatever!

They are super easy to make, however, you do need a few supplies that you can get at your local craft store.

The total cost will probably be around $10.00 or less and you'll have extra marbles so you can make more for other people!
