Are Cheap Acoustic Guitars Really any Good?
One of the reasons why really cheap acoustic guitars are so cheap is that the materials used to make them are cheaper types of wood and plastic compared to more expensive guitars,do not make the mistake of rushing out and buying the first really cheap acoustic guitar you see! the chances are that it will be made out of low quality materials and the sound it produces will not be up to standard even for a beginner! There are guitars made out of materials other than wood, such as graphite or plastic, but good quality wood is also what makes even a reasonably cheap priced acoustic guitar have the sound you're looking for. If you buy a non-wood guitar, the sound won't be right to your ear and you may even give up practising your guitar out of sheer frustration.It is better to buy a good cheap acoustic guitar made out of decent quality wood than save a few dollars to buy a plastic one or one that is made out of low quality wood that you probably won't like.

Even when you are looking for a good quality cheap acoustic guitar, get one with a solid wood top, not a plywood top. A solid wood top will give you a much richer and fuller tone. If you can afford it, get a guitar with a solid wood on the back and the sides.

Is $100 Dollors Too Cheap for an Acoustic Guitar?

In the under $100 dollor bracket of cheap acoustic guitars,We have nothing really to recommend for a good quality at that price point. Many of them are barely even playable. New guitars in this price range are one of the No.1 reasons that many young and aspiring people give up alltogether with learning to play the guitar. They are really just not made very well. If you are seriously thinking of getting yourself or somebody else a cheap acoustic guitar avoid the under $100 range. You will just distinguish any ethusiasm you had. It is definatly much better to avoid the $80 guitar at the local discount mart and buy yourself a good quality second-hand guitar. Second-hand guitars have a life and richness all of their own that you may even prefer rather more than a new guitar! Cheap Dirty Acoustic Guitars on Ebay!
