Did you ever want to change your PSP background but didn't know how or simply didn't want to waste that much time doing what should be very simple? Those days have come and gone. You will never have to think of changing your background as a task anymore.

With the release of PSPersonalize you can now change the monthly background files very easily even with a v1.50 PSP.

With so many people still using firmware version 1.50 this was a unnecessary pain. This version was the origonal and to this day is the most widly used. This is due to the use of Homebrew games and applications.

You will no longer have to go through the long and drawn out process of changing the current monthly picture just to get your favorite picture on your PSP desktop.

This process was very painful and used to take you around 10 minutes just to change the background on your PSP. Im my opinion this is just way to long for such a small thing. Firmware v2.0 automatically supports using themes wich allows you to change the backgoound with ease without a homebrew PSP application. This makes it beyond simple to change your background at any time. You simply have to place the background on your memory stick in the X:/PSP/PHOTO directory. Then simply go into the photo menu to select it.

As well as the illegal sites mentioned above, you will also find more than a few "scam" sites. They look like a dream come true at first-latest games, new movies, cool wallpapers etc, but it all stops as soon as you actually try to download something. They'll ask for your credit card details faster than you can blink! What's worse, it's not even a one off fee, they will be wanting you to pay monthly for as long as you want to use their service. The drawback is that for the best sites like these you need to pay, but it's not a big scam like those other guys. It's usually just one fee, ever, $30 or $40, and then you get to download as much as you want as often as you want. Because you pay them upfront, they can make sure they have all the latest free PSP game downloads, and they are all high speed etc. Basically for the price of one new game you get to own every new game ever released. Not too shabby huh?
