Cheap Sunglasses to Wear
Sure you can go to a market and pick up a pair of cheap sunglasses for a few bucks and either you got a bargain or you got a pair of cheap sunglasses that fall apart on you within a couple days.
Knowing the difference between cheap sunglasses that are a bargain and cheap sunglasses that are a lemon doesn't really take too much knowledge - its mainly all about commin sense.
So when you pick up a pair of cheap sunglasses what you have to ask yourself is first and foremost, would you feel ok wearing them?
You'd be surprised at how many people grab a pair of cheap sunglasses just becasue they were so cheap they couldn't resist, only to get home and try them on in front of a mirror and promptly dump them in the bin!

So how do you spot a cheap sunglasses

Well there are a few rules of thumb that you need to be aware of just to make sure you get something you are happy with and would be proud to wear walking down the street or along the beach.
1. Do they suit your face?
As I explained in the previous section, you need to have access to a mirror so you can see them on your face to know whether they suit you or not. Or at least have a good friend with you that can advise you - not a practical joker who would tell you crappy pair looked great!
2. Do they make you feel good?
Cheap sunglasses generally look cheap and therefore the combination of them looking like cheap sunglasses and you knowing you only paid a few dollars for them sits high up in your thoughts and will be sure to make you feel self conscious wearing them. If you tried them on first and felt good about wearin them, then you'll probably be ok, beacuse when something makes us feel good the price doesn't matter.
3. Are they goin to break easy?
That's a quick close inspection you can do before you buy. Check the hinges look solid and the glass fits properly in the frames - poorly fitting lenses will drop out easily! Look at the frames in particluar - do they look to you like they will stand a bit of wear and tear? Or do they look like they'll snap as soon as you put them on your face?
Well that's the major things to look out for but the bottom line is always to be on your guard and use common sense as your greatest weapon against being lumbered with a lemon!

Especially in the coastal towns of Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuengirola you can't sit in a bar along the beach and not be almost continually harrangued by the "lookie lookie men", guys over from Morocco that walk up and down with armloads of cheap sunglasses amongst other things.
They are sometimes loaded with great looking cheap sunglasses in all kinds of styles, shapes and sizes from straight sunglasses to wraparounds, designer fakes and all sorts!

Will Cheap Sunglasses Hurt Your Eyes?
You might ask, "Will Cheap Sunglasses Hurt Your Eyes?" to which the honest reply is "usually, no."
But...
In most cases even very cheap sunglasses will be ok for wearing in the sunshine as they give some protection to the eyes from the sheer brightness that a very sunny day can genereate especially if you're walking around streets with white pavements, white buildings or on a beach with very pale sand - without sunglasses of any kind could result in temporary "snow blindness" through constant exposure to very bright light.
However, when you buy cheap sunglasses, you should always try them on to make sure you can see clearly through them as any abberrations in the lenses could make your eyes tired, or fatigued from the constant attempts by the eyes to correct the vision.
Also pay attention to any scratches or cracks on the lenses, which could potentially result in fractured or broken lenses down the line.
