Cheap Golf Carts For Sale

A golfer spends a day at a plush country club, playing golf & enjoying the luxury of a complimentary caddy. He plays poorly all day. Round about the 18th hole, he spots a lake off to the left of the fairway. He looks at the caddy and says, "I've played so poorly all day, I think I'm going to go drown myself in that lake."

The caddy looks back at him and says, "I don't think you can keep your head down that long."

Cheap Golf Carts

Listen. I am just learning to golf. My new husband has finally convinced me to try it. He loves the game so much that I hope I love it too.

Right now I'm in that "What the %$*& did I get myself into stage. It will pass. I hope.

In the meantime, I need equipment. I need cheap equipment.

Why do I say cheap?

Well, I could say inexpensive, budget, economy, low-cost, low-priced, or reasonable, any minimizing word will do. But the reason is - that I may not LIKE golf. I might find the whole process tedious and boring...

Wait - I can hear golfers everywhere rushing across just waxed hardwood floors in their cleated shoes to defend the sport!

I said I MIGHT not like it - so hold on to your putters..

I don't know yet if I love it or hate it, but what I do know is that I don't want to spend a fortune on equipment that might end up collecting dust in the back of the garage under the boxed collection of Michael Jackson records...

Then again, if I love golf (as my husband claims will happen) I want to have good serviceable stuff (technical term).

I don't want someones old used dirty castoffs and I don't want something that's going to bust on me on the 10th hole.

So - I have been on a quest. To find new cheap golf equipment that people like me can afford - while we learn if we like the game enough to invest hundreds or even thousands of dollars on signature supplies.

I started looking online and all I could find were links, to more links, to more links...obviously someone is making money from me clicking on all of those links, but all I was getting was frustrated.

So I decided to make my own site.

Are you new to the game? Are you a student with a small budget, but a PE requirement? Do you want a good product, but don't need the latest gizmo like the latte' holder, or the remote control?

Well, I put this site together for US!

Nothing over $200. That's a promise. If you're looking for cheap golf carts for sale, cheap golf bags, free golf clubs or apparel - you can find it here.

History of Caddie

The word Caddie derives from the French word 'le cadet', meaning 'the boy' or the youngest of the family. The word 'cadet' appears in English from 1610 and the word 'caddie' or 'cadie' appears shortly after that in 1634. Adopting French terms was not unusual for the Scots. For example they adopted the term "Gardez-vous!" as 'gardyloo'.

This appears to be the origin of the speculative theory, promoted by some, that French military 'cadets' carried the clubs for the golfing royalty in France and this practice came to Scotland when Queen Mary Stuart returned in 1561. Of course the military term 'cadet' has the same origin, as these 'cadets' were often the younger sons of the aristocracy.

The Turnaround by George Pelecanos

It's 1972, and Alex Pappas doesn't want any trouble. He just wants to go to college and become a writer. He's not even interested in taking over his father's coffee shop, much as his father wants him to do. Hoping to stay clear of trouble, as well, is James Monroe, who wants to become a mechanic like his own father. But when Alex and two friends make a beer-fueled run into Washington, D.C.'s Heathrow Heights, an isolated black neighborhood, their worlds are irrevocably ruined. A shouted racial epithet turns into a fight that leaves one boy dead, Alex maimed and James headed for prison.....more about this book on Bookcase Flying Circus.
