Inexpensive Weddings

Wedding photographs are the most precious pieces of glossy paper that you will ever
own and you want to make sure they are as poorly taken as possible..Right? Please correct me if I am wrong. Let me tell you a short tale about "careless Clara" and how she chose the most dreadful wedding photographer of her dreams.

Careless Clara knew that if you want a good wedding photographer that you must pick the most expensive one. You get what you pay for right? Well, just to be safe, she asks a few questions, because Careless Clara doesn't let anyone make a fool of her:

Clara: What is the name of the photographer that is going to photograph my wedding?


Representative: All of the staff memebers from XYZ company are proffesionals and are highly skilled to do top-notch work!


Clara: Ohhh! Well, as long as they are highly skilled proffessionals, you can't go wrong.




Clara: Do you make sure to bring back-up equipment?


Rep: Back-up equipment? Ha Ha Haaa. Don't be fooled by all those wedding magazines, only a poor wedding photographer needs a back-up. Hmmph.


Clara: Now that you say it like that, a wedding photographer who doesn't trust himself must be hiding something.




Clara: Do you some type of portfolio or proofs that I can look at?


Rep: You can go online and see hundreds of the most beautiful pictures in our portfolio. We don't carry them around, because they can get so easily damaged. Ya know what I mean?


Clara: You are a thoughtful person and seeing that makes me feel more at ease with your company. Wait a minute, one more question.





Clara: How many pictures will be taken at my wedding?


Rep: Err uhhh. We'll have to really analyze that before giving you an answer. A good wedding photographer doesn't know so soon. He would be lying if he told you. I don't want to tell you the wrong thing and lie to you.


Clara: Well..Uh..Okay.

Clara has a fleeting moment where she feels that something just isn't right. She then reassures herself that a high priced wedding photographer would have been out of business if he or she was unsatisfactory. It will be Ok, she thinks. Look at how professional their representative looks!

The day of the wedding comes and here comes this young sporty looking fella, Brad, who is looking nervous and scared. He clutches his camera like he is hanging on to dear life. He walks around aimlessly like this is his first time. Clara peaks in from the back and feels a knot in her stomach. Something is amiss.
