If you want to advance levels in FarmVille, you need to rack up experience points, fast. Here's a few easy tips to help you advance levels and get a gentleman farmer's spread, instead of the stump farm you now own.

1) The rinse, lather and repeat method. This works if you have a lot of coins to spend.

Don't plant every available space on your farm. Leave a patch open for a special little space to gain XP instead.

Here's what to do: Plant some soybeans which are cheap, then delete them and plow all over again and repeat the process. You won't get coins this way, but you will rack up XP points that enable you to advance levels. Some folks have advance three or more levels in one day this way.

2) Be Friendly.. Make sure to visit all your neighbors on FarmVille daily. This will help you get those all-important XP points.

3) Corral Those Critters. Yes, all those animals on FarmVille are super cute, but they really don't make you a lot of money for the energy you have to expend looking after them, plus they take up a lot of space. Sell them off and buy trees instead. You'll get more coins from the trees than you will from the critters.

Here's another good reason not to let your farm get overrun with piggies, goats, bunnies and such: they take up the space you need to add buildings.

Adding buildings makes you gain experience (XP) points much faster than you would milking the ol' cow.

So remember: Building good! Bunny bad! if you're trying to gain experience points to advance in levels.

When you get past the lower levels, you can start getting much bigger and more elaborate farms. Don't let a little bunny or pig stand in your way.
