These cheese biscuits are to die for. Just imagine them right out of the oven, hot and steamy. Mmmmmm, you will find this will become one of your favorite recipes.

What you'll need

Large bowl - The larger the better, although there aren't a lot of ingredients, it does end up everywhere. At least it does at my house.

Pastry cutter - This is a great tool to have around. This is used mainly to cut the butter into the flour mix.

Cookie sheet - Any kind will do.

Pastry brush - These are inexpensive and makes it easy to apply the melted butter to the top.

Measuring cups and spoons
-

Ingredients

2-1/2 cups Bisquick
4 Tbl cold butter (1/2 stick)
1 heaping cup grated Cheddar Cheese
3/4 cup cold whole milk
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

Combine Bisquick and butter. Cut in until the size of peas.

Add cheese, milk, and garlic powder. Mix lightly, don't over do it.

Drop 1/4 cup size (ice cream scoop) on ungreased cookie sheet

Bake 15-17 minutes until tops are light brown.

While the biscuits are baking, melt 2 Tbl butter in the microwave. Add 1/2 tsp garlic powder.

Brush the melted butter over the top.

Makes 12

Serving Suggestions

I can't think of any meal that these won't go with.

1. Serve them with Cranberry Chicken.

2. These are perfect with BBQ ribs.

3. Make the humble meatloaf special.
