Play The Papa's Burgeria

I truly wish they could make all flash games this good. This game is called Papa's Burgeria, it's fun and addictive as hell. It's not really an original game in that it's much like the pizzeria game in the Papa Louie series, but there are many improvements that the other game should have had, like the ability to upgrade your restaurant.

You have two choices of characters, either Marty or Rita to run your burger joint. As far as I know there are no advantages or disadvantages, you can play whichever characters you want. Your job is to take your customers order, grill and then build the burgers just the way they like it.

Like the last, this game is very long with a whole menagerie of kooky characters to unlock.

The whole essence of the game is time management and multi tasking. I've added some of my own tips, but not many because Armor games wrote up a really helpful strategy guide and how to guide, so I'll only list what I thought was missing from that.

Since Armor games wrote the best strategy guide for this game, my own notes are sparse at best, but I wanted to add a few burger building methods and other tid bits.

Tips on redeeming yourself when you've made them wait too long:

Whenever I've messed up with waiting times, I've found it possible to redeem myself by stepping up my A game with the grilling and the burger building. I still managed to walk away with a star towards that customer with 80%, 70%, or even 65% on the wait. Just give the little guys a perfect cheeseburger!

Remember that money is very important in the burgeria and everything in your upgrade shop is useful. Even the cheapest upgrade poster takes a nice edge off of waiting times. I found that the best upgrades were the heat lamp, and the medium meat timer.

It took me a long time to build the burger faster with some semblance of accuracy. I'm still fine tuning this, but I came up with two methods.

Drop the ingredient from the top of the spotlight where it's most narrow, so that it's easier to center the item. Done very quickly this gives pretty good results, yet not perfect.

My second method is hard to put into words and takes a second or two longer.

I drag the ingredient in a downward motion while pretending that our cartoon burger really is a physical form. The ingredient is placed really close to the bottom of the bun. This can be about as accurate, or sometimes more so than the other method.

Play Burger Jam

Burger jam is a quick, yet challenging little booger of a game. You run your burger stand by quickly serving cheeseburgers and other sandwiches to some really curious looking creatures. They then shove the entire meal into their mouths and swallow it whole while making hilarious burping and gulping noises.

The object of the game is simple, reach the daily tip goal before the timer runs out and get a high score. It may take a couple of plays or more to get the hang of it since the burgers get more and more complicated with every level.

The only game bug I encountered no matter which web site I played this on was that on the second level sometimes the sound becomes garbled. In all the years I came back to this game this has always happened.

Burger Jam is kind of difficult, and I admit that I've always had trouble with it. Here are the strategies that I managed to walk away with.

The orange juice gives a little bit of happiness back to your weirdos, but use it wisely because it takes it a bit to fill back up.

This one is not much of a tip, but a statement. I've never found a good way to redeem myself once the game snow balls out of control. Once I've lost a customer I have the tendency to panic and it slows down my entire rhythm of things.

The only way I could figure out how to stay on top of the game was to get one dude fed before the next guy gave his order, and so on. Preferably before the next creature fell in. However, this was difficult if not impossible to keep up by the later levels of the game.

This goes without saying, but the faster you feed these weirdos the happier they are and the more tips and score you get.

If you lose a customer, you lose $3.

Play The unfabulous burger bustle

I've never heard of the show that this game is based on, all that aside I really enjoyed this game. It is a bit bizarre to play a cartoon character with a real human head, but to me this is part of its appeal.

You play as Addie, and some chick named Mary Ferry is trying to steal your boyfriend. For some odd reason Addie has to earn enough money to win her boyfriend Jake back. He really must not be a very good boyfriend, but then again, I've never seen the tv show. My guess was that she has to bribe him to take her to the dance instead. Hhhaha, Pewr Addie!

In the game, you have to seat your customers, take their orders and then grab their order from one of the three chefs. In this world getting a fountain soda is a one man job! One of the chefs will come up with one soda, burger or french fries, one at a time. I haven't figured out exactly what makes a chef come up with a food item because sometimes you have to wait on your burger. My best guess is more seems to pop up when I take more orders, or clean the tables.

You have to raise enough to make the daily goal for about seven days to beat the game. It's a short and sweet and addictive little number.

Just keep in mind that you can only hold up to five items on your tray at a time. If you get in trouble you can always chuck it all in the waste bin that's to the right of your three chefs. I like to try to keep two burgers, two orders of fries, and one soda on my serving tray.

The last thing to keep in mind is that you don't get your tip money until you've cleaned the tables. When the daily timer starts to wind down, be sure to get them all cleared. Despite the game getting a bit challenging towards the end, I think if you keep those things in mind, you'll do just fine.

Play burger time

I'm going to have to admit that I suck at the classic platform style of games, but Burger time is one of the oldest and most loved of hamburger games. I did give it my best shot though, but even after all these years I still suck. I challenge everyone to give their best Burger scores strategies and tips in the comment section. I will keep trying and getting my butt handed back to me. :)

On this clone, I found it to be really good and close to the original arcade game. My only gripe was there wasn't any sound.

Play Patty Panic

I thought this was another cute Burger time clone. Heh, it was a bit more forgiving than the other one too, but still being a platform game I still got whooped. It had a few new things, like the fly swatter that wipes out all the bad guys which really came in handy, if you can get to it before it disappears. As much as I enjoyed Sponge bob in this game, this is another show I've never seen.

The game ran smooth with no bugs, and although it's a Burger time clone, it held its own pretty well. I played this one directly after the previous clone, and I didn't get bored. Well, just frustrated when I kept getting creamed, but I expected that to happen.

Here is my second favorite game, Beastie burgers! I could be wrong, but I believe this is one of those lesser known flash games that sort of fell through the cracks. I had always hoped for part two of this game.

You play a werewolf that's also a burger chef named Manuel, who has big burger dreams, but no money. After the death of his grandma, he spent his entire inheritance on a snazzy burger truck in order to pursue this burger making dream. You will help him around the town, serving up your gross and strange creations to the other monsters and abominations. You can also earn trophy rewards along the way for things like serving 25 perfect burgers and unlock all kinds of weird, and really bent ingredients. Yeah, some of them are really twisted. HAHAH.

At first, moving from right to left in your truck kitchen can be a bit awkward, also I wish there is a way to make the screen bigger without it becoming wonky. On most of these games I normally hold down the Ctrl button while pressing the plus key, or moving my mouse wheel back or forth to make the screen smaller or bigger. Well, that doesn't work in this game. I did get used to the awkward screen after a couple of boards though. These are the reasons I wish they would re-make this one and give us upgrades to spend our money on.

Beastie burgers is one of those games that really gets ridiculously hard, so I hope I can be of help here. I've also listed some funny stuff I found about this game.

About your Fixings slab that's to the right of your burger grill. You can set stuff down on it for later. Already cooked burgers, grilled onions, or any ingredient except for chili, monkey brains or baked beans. But, you can place those in a burger box if it's the next ingredient you need. It's useful for planning ahead in the game and best of all your burgers never get cold! When ingredient variations get too large this will be a bit difficult to do.

You have to build your burgers in the right order, except for the bun. You can actually place a burger box on your slab and build your burger in the right order without the bun. Then, when you're done building, you can place the bun in the box and everything will right itself.

Don't forget that you have three sections of your grill and can change the temperatures to all three. I like to have one super hot grill, one medium and one semi low. The super low setting is great for grilling burgers ahead of time in the beginning of the game when you can plan ahead a bit, or for grilling tomatoes or onion.

Speaking of which, those little things like onions, tomatoes or frog legs cook up much faster than anything else! This is why I like to put them on a low burner, and even then I don't like to put them on too early.

It took me forever to figure this out. When the monsters request baked beans, monkey brains or chili they request it to be moderately cooked. I don't know why they do this because you can't put it on the grill. Well guess what? It's already cooked moderately! I felt like a doofus. Just scoop it up and put it on the burger as is, they don't seem to notice.

Some fun stuff!

You can go gloat over your trophies at any time over at the trophy house.

You can squirt your customers with condiments, this gets them really mad! It's a tradition in my game to pelt any anti kudo jerks with as many varieties as I can get em with before they disappear!

Sometimes you get lucky and get a vegetarian monster! One big guy just wanted an un-toasted bun with ketchup. I always make up for lost time with these guys. :)
