My world looks different through my squid eyes: clearer, more thought-out, better researched, better understood. Make no bones about it - I love Squidoo, and it was love at first sight. On January 29th, 2008 I discovered a completely new opportunity to express myself, learn a lot from like-minded companions, and even make a little money from all that fun! On July 2, I was honored with "Giant Squid" status. In September, I became a Squid Angel. I am proud and determined to live up to this great recognition. Would you like to be a "Giant", too? Squidoo Activists are a new group on Squidoo. The purpose of the Activists is a group that focuses on charity. We are Champions for Charity.The Squidoo Activists grew out of the Squidoo SuperHero Challenge brainstorm of Squidoo's Non-profit Organizer Extraordinaire, Anne Reidy.
Many of the original members were invited to participate as Squidoo Activists because of our participation in the SuperHero Challenge.
The primary goal of the Squidoo Activists is to do even more for charities using Squidoo.
