ChemKnits' 2011 Goals

I am beyond honored to be a Giant Squid. This recognition motivates me to try to reach the club that is the best of the best here at Squidoo, the Giant 100 club.

"Run towards Giant" is one of my favorite lenses, it is a diary chronicling my journey towards the creation of 50 great lenses. As is the case with almost every lens I create, I write for myself first and others second. Lensographies help me categorize my lenses and keep track of the projects I want to do.

Part of this goal is to continue helping others achieve greatness. I try to spend a lot of time over in the Critique Me forum, and I created a lens to act as a resource when helping others improve lenses.

I am by far my biggest critic, so it will be interesting to see how long it will take me to reach what I consider 100 great lenses. Sure, I have 101 (102 with this publish) lenses, but that doesn't mean that they're all great! Thankfully I only have to have 50 more that are great, and there are some that didn't make the Run Towards Giant list that are pretty darn great.

January 2011 will be the first payment I receive from Squidoo, but I have been earning money online for over a year now.

Since I added AdSense to ChemKnits, I have been averaging ~$22/month. In my first month with Squidoo, the lensrankings I achieved more than doubled those earnings.

So I am going to work to increase my earnings so I make about $5/day. It's not a lot of money, but it is a healthy start. If I reach this goal, then I will set an even bigger one for myself.
