    I love chess, though I've never been great at it. Too impatient. We have a Lord of the Rings set we enjoy using. My son likes to fight with the pieces. Enjoyed the lens.

    I used to play chess online rather than playing face to face. I think I need to get me a unique set to make me play more for real. Interesting lens.

    Love chess but now don't play it much. My six year old grandson is almost capable of beating me so I gave him my chess set which is similar to the Staunton one pictured above. Blessed and featured on Blessed by Skiesgreen 2012 and also on Games for Young and Old. Hugs

    My kids all played chess in school and I saved all their sets. I thought I had a big collection until I read this lens. Wow, you really highlighted some amazing sets. And I can't believe the prices some of these sets are fetching on ebay. Really amazing. Thanks!

    I love playing chess. Back in the good old days when I was in high school (I graduated from high school in 2004), I and my friends used to play chess all the time.

    I love chess and own a couple of sets but these are beautiful.. The medieval set is amazing, and I would love to own a bone set, maybe when I win the lottery. Thanks for such a good read

    I love the chess sets. I learned chess at the age of 5 from my grandfather and have an old Staunton set very similar to the one in the picture ... given to me by my grandfather many years ago. I still use it regularly. If you like chess, check out my chess strategies blog.
