Making your own chess books can be fun and instructional. The first step is to decide on your content. It could be a book of your best games, games by you favorite player or games from a tournament.
Why would you want to make your own chess books? Annotating the games can be instructional. Or you could let a strong chess engine do it for you. Either way analyzing and playing over games is a great way to improve your chess. Also, for many players it is easier to play over the games from a book than play them on the computer screen.
You may also want to offer them to readers of your blog or website. A place you can store you books for free downloading is:

This site is free and you can then create a link to your books.
I have made several of these booklets by first putting everything in Word. All I did was open the game in a chess engine then copy it and paste it in to Word. After the booklet was finished I converted it to pdf then uploaded it to my 4shared account and it was ready to offer for free downloading.
