GM Saves the Day with the Electric Chevy Volt
How Does 150 MPG Sound to You??
Chevy Starts Alleviating Everyone's Gas Pains with the Chevy Volt!
How exactly will the Chevy Volt perform and how much gas will you use?Well, if you drive under 40 miles in a trip, you'll be using ZERO gas. Yup, zero gas. If fully charged, the Volt will get a whopping 150 miles per gallon. Once the battery has been depleted, it will still get an impressive 50 MPG (that's way more than any non-hybrid car).
The Chevy Volt will cost around $40,000 sticker, and there's already a waiting list. Be sure to get on it as soon as you can and call/visit your local Chevy dealership. The first year's prodocution has an estimated release of only 10,000 for the first year, with production being beefed up for the 2nd year of production.

Oh, it's not a hybrid?
Chevy wants to call this car something different, so they're calling it an E-REV, which stands for "Extended Range Electric Vehicle." It's better than a hybrid since it relies much less on gasoline!
Get on the Waiting List!
The GM Volt Waiting List is getting pretty lengthy, but with some luck, you might be able to get one! Sign up here to get on the list today!
