One of the Chicago History Museum's most recognizable and famous exhibits is the 1978 Chevy Monte Carlo lowrider created by the Amistad Car Club of Cicero, Illinois, that sits in the lobby of the museum. This video was commissioned by the museum to explain lowriding culture.

The Chicago History Museum produced this video which interviews several Chicagoans about what it was like to grow up Catholic in the city of Chicago. As a heavily Catholic city, the influence of the faith is felt in many of the Chicago History Museum's collections.
