There are a lot of baby stroller- carrier systems on the market. Some are more expensive, and some are less, but there are some features of the Chicco Cortina that make it better than the rest:

When you open the stroller, it "remembers" the last position the seat was in. This is great because you adjust the position once for your baby's comfort and then it just folds out that way.
The snack tray is removable, so you can easily wipe it down or even rinse it off. This is better than the trays that just flip up or swing. Believe me, spills happen all the time and little fingers love to smear food- you will want to give the tray a good washing from time to time.
The stroller is designed to easily fold up with one hand- very smart. You only have one free hand when you're holding your baby anyways. Love this.
Comfortably holds infants and babies up to 30 pounds, so your little one won't outgrow it for at least a little while.
Multi-position, adjustable canopy for protection in any weather. Let in the sun, keep out the drizzle, whatever the weather, you can be outside in the fresh air!
Stylish and not too bulky. When I had my son who is now a pre teen, his stroller was such a huge thing, and the car sear was separate and bulky too. It is a great stroller for the price. It is not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive either. This system is made very well and therefore perfect to use for your second child and beyond too.

This is certainly one of the best travel system strollers on the market. The Chicco KeyFit is the highest rated on Consumer Reports and the Cortina has also made it on the list with high ratings in the past. Best of all it gets lots of great reviews from consumers!
