Chicken and broccoli casserole is an all around great dish. It can be baked all in one dish and served immediately. Chicken and Broccoli Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 cloves of chopped garlic
- green onion
- cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp tarragon
- 1 lb broccoli florets
- 1 1/2 lb bonless chicken breast
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp butter
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Arrange the mushrooms and broccoli in a casserole, the broccoli on top.
3. In a frying pan, heat olive oil on medium heat and add in the butter.
4. Toss in the chicken and season with salt and pepper. Add some garlic powder as well.
5. When chicken is cooked, place the chicken on top of the broccoli.
6. Slice the onions and fry. Put a little bit of salt and pepper and add the garlic. Sauté.
7. Pour the white wine and tarragon. Toss the cream cheese, broth and sour cream. Mix well.
8. Top the sauce on the chicken and broccoli.
9. Place casserole in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
10. Top casserole with fresh chopped parsley.
