- We have chickens in our grounds here in the UK. We have two coops that we built using chicken coop plans http://www.chickencoopsx.com and our hens are productive layers. Nothing beats having fresh organic eggs every morning. Together with fresh bread from our bread machine having our eggs from our back yard is just a great start to the day. Do it - build a coop today you will not regret it. More power to this lens encouraging people to do it. We did it and if we can build one anyone can - it's super easy.

- This really is a great lens and exceptionally thorough. I enjoyed my time here and always love to read about other "How to Build Chicken Coop" ideas and plans. - We can have 3 chickens but no roosters in the city limits of Portland, so this would be awesome! I have 5 different neighbors that have chickens.
